Joey Venable
Oil and Gas Operations Manager

In a sentence or two, tell us your favorite thing about working at Absolute?

I enjoy collaborating with our experienced team of managers and technicians on large complex projects, providing solutions for our clients, while supporting the small company family atmosphere within the workplace.

What accomplishment at Absolute are you most proud of?

I am most proud of having the opportunity to expand Absolute’s market share in the Industrial, Oil & Gas sector. This journey started for me as a Senior Field Service Technician over a decade ago. Absolute allowed the freedom to independently grow customer relations by efficiently and effectively providing a customer-first approach to client project requirements.

As a locally-based, independently owned, third-party testing organization, Absolute answers only to their clients. As a result, we have coined the term Powerfully Independent! In a sentence or two, tell us what Powerfully Independent means to you and how this has impacted your experience working at Absolute.

To me Powerfully Independent means the independence and ability to respond to a client’s needs without hesitation while providing unmatched service and expertise.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to take adventures with my wife and children. I also enjoy golf, archery, fishing, and pretty much anything outdoors.

Who inspires you?

My wife and children inspire me. They continuously display grit, determination, and a never-give-up attitude while accomplishing goals.
